(1).Tubing Head
Tubing head is usually a spool with flanges at both ends and installed on the upper flange of the casing head to hang the tubing string and to seal the annular space between tubing string and reservoir casing. It is composed of tubing head spool and tubing hanger.
(2).Tubing Head Functions:
✮Hang the tubing string inside well;
✮Seal the annular space between tubing and casing;
✮Provide transition for connecting casing head downwards and X-mas tree upwards;
✮The tubing head spool is provided with both side outlets for injection and well clean-up operations.
